Leadership doesn't necessarily means people management. It simply means to lead the group to a specific goal. Product Managers aren't necessarily people managers. They can be individual contributors but still leading the product team towards the business or product goal. Defo Agree! Nitish Rana The role of a product manager (PM) involves leading cross-functional teams without having direct authority over them. PMs need to influence and motivate team members from different departments, such as engineering, marketing, and sales, by leveraging their communication skills, vision for the product, and ability to build consensus. This leadership without formal authority is a key aspect of the PM role.

Totally agree! Nitish Rana )) Product Management is a great example of leadership without people management. It's about driving the product vision and strategy forward.
