🐄 36% Adoption of Milking Robots in the Netherlands 🐄 I came across an interesting study about the adoption of milking robots in the Netherlands. 🇳🇱 Of the 14,000 dairy farms, 5,100 farms (36.5%) are now using a milking robot. Even more impressive is this stat: when renovating or building a new barn, 85% of dairy farmers invest in a milking robot as their milking system. 🔧🏠 This highlights a significant level of automation adoption in the dairy sector and could be a benchmark for the expected level of automation in other sectors. The dairy sector has been leading the charge, with the first milking robot introduced in the early 1990s.
