Today marks a major milestone in the United States Department of Defense #CMMC “Final Rule” which allows CMMC Certified Third-Party Assessment Organizations (#C3PAO’s) to begin assessing contractor compliance against the CMMC framework. The #DoD is not yet required to mandate a specific CMMC level in a solicitation or contract, that will go into effect in 2025 when the final CMMC Acquisition Rule is finalized.
