Often the toughest part for start-ups…but the most critical one. Market fit. Market fit is the alignment between a product and the market it serves, ensuring that the product satisfies a significant demand. Achieving market fit means your product effectively solves a problem for a defined customer segment, leading to strong user adoption and sustained growth. It is often considered the most critical phase for startups, as it validates the product's value proposition and potential for scalability. Entrepreneurs must continuously iterate based on customer feedback to refine their offering, ensuring it meets the evolving needs and preferences of the target audience. Successful market fit drives revenue and sets the foundation for long-term business success.

It's usually just focusing on your customer, delivering value, and building loyalty. Yes, you need to ask for money but if you're constantly chasing the next big thing, or latest growth hack, stop. Just focus on serving your customers better instead.

Great article. It’s spot on. I have seen many companies in the Series A crunch. This used to be normal for European companies, but has also become normal in the US.
