Amazing to see this called out! One of so many of our unsung ‘did you know’ Red gems. ❤️ We were the first retailer in New Zealand to introduce a charge for checkout bags - and to use the proceeds for good - way back in 2008! Since then, our iconic red bags have continued to make a difference to Kiwi communities through our national community partners and local charities. A simple bag, making a big difference. 💪 If you’ve ever picked one up - you’re part of that story. 🙌 #TheWarehouse #RedBagsForGood #CommunityImpact #ProudMoment

With red sheds dotted up and down the country, The Warehouse is part of a nationwide community that loves the same things as our customers: great bargains, fun shopping, healthy and happy communities, and making sure every Kiwi has a chance to thrive. It's been part of our DNA, since the beginning to support local communities by giving back, and one of the ways we do that, is with our iconic red bags. What you probably didn't know is that each year, we give more than $1Million from sales of these recycled, reusable, red beauties to Kiwi communities through our national partners and store donations. That's news worth sharing and we reckon anyone who buys a red bag is a bloody legend for helping us make good things happen! So next time you need a reusable bag, make sure it's one from The Warehouse! #thewarehouse #tbwa Troy Rawhiti-Connell Lizzie Havercroft Phil Cumming Catherine Harris Shane Bradnick Taryn Wallace Anagha Sridhar
