Change is scary… I've made a lot of big changes in my life in the last few years. I went from being an elementary school teacher to a career in sales. I uprooted everything I knew my whole life, and moved almost 3,000 miles from the PNW out to New Hampshire. And most recently, I found myself in the packaging industry, an industry where I had zero experience or knowledge prior. Now as uncomfortable as it can be, I charge full into any change I experience. I've spent the last few months learning, and absorbing anything and everything involving custom folding board packaging. I've been grateful for the time and experience invested in me at Oliver Inc. I now know what sets us apart from larger integrators, and smaller independents. We fit a space that is desperately needed in the current landscape and have a ton of value we could bring to a brand. But.. like I said, change is scary. Many people that I’ve talked to (or attempted to talk to 😅) are happy doing things the way they've been doing them and with suppliers that take them for granted. It's an industry full of sticking to the status quo and with who you know.
