Despite what some might think, the reality for women in tech is tough. Women hold only 27% of all computer science jobs and just 21% of executive roles in tech companies. This isn’t by chance; it’s because of the barriers and biases they face. Here are some examples: - Lack of Mentorship: Finding mentors who can offer guidance and support is often a struggle. - Implicit Bias: Subtle prejudices that question women’s abilities and leadership potential. - Exclusionary Cultures: Work environments that don’t support diversity and inclusion. At WECAN, we’re all about changing this narrative. Here’s how we can tackle these issues: - Mentorship Programs: Connect with experienced pros who can guide you. - Bias Training: Promote awareness to reduce workplace biases. - Inclusive Communities: Build networks that truly support diversity and inclusion. Join WECAN today to redefine your professional journey and be part of the force reshaping the workplace for women in technology. #wecan #wecanleadtech #careeraccelerather #wecaninnercircle #elevatewomenleaders #womenintechnology #womenexecutives #femalementor #inclusiveness #equalrightsforwomen #femaleleadership #inspiringexecutives #mentorshipnetwork
