This is my step in Open source world 🚶 The term originated in the context of software development to designate a specific approach to creating computer programs. Today, however, "open source" designates a broader set of values—what we call "the open source way." Open source projects, products, or initiatives embrace and celebrate principles of open exchange, collaborative participation, rapid prototyping, transparency, meritocracy, and community-oriented development. 🚀 Dive into Neovim with Ease! 🖥️💡 If you've been living that VS Code life, you might look at Neovim and wonder what the fuss is about. After all, it looks like it's from the 1980s out of the box and people can spend hours configuring it. But once you're on the other side of that configuration, you'll find your optimal setup and a new level of coding efficiency. I'm thrilled to share the launch of the series, "Neovim for Newbs" on https://typecraft.dev If you've ever been curious about mastering Neovim, but felt overwhelmed by its complexity, jump into the first set of videos to learn how you can take Neovim from Zero to IDE. Drop VS Code and IntelliJ and get an editor that is truly yours. What You'll Learn: 📑 Essentials of Neovim: Understand the basics and get your environment set up. 🔍 Exploring Key Plugins: Discover plugins that enhance your productivity. 🎯 Hands-On Tutorials: Follow along with practical examples and real-world scenarios. 🚀 Advanced Tips: Gradually advance to more complex workflows as you gain confidence. After nearly 20 years in the software development industry, I've decided it's time to start sharing my knowledge and experiences. I'm excited to be working with an old friend from our days at Teladoc Health, Chris Power, to help developers level up through YouTube videos, online courses, and tutorials. It's been in the works for months, but as we turn the corner to 60k+ subscribers on YouTube and the launch of our learning platform, I wanted to share it here. https://typecraft.dev aims to spark excitement for developers who are learning about tools that will make us better at our craft. Think of our content as Marie Kondo for developers. We'll show you things, and if they spark joy and excitement for you, use them! If they don't, continue the journey to find the tools that work for you. Together, we aim to bring a wealth of collective knowledge to all of you through engaging and educational content. We've launched a series of resources on various platforms where we delve into everything from coding tips and tutorials to advanced software development practices. Our goal is to make complex concepts accessible and fun, helping you grow and succeed in your own tech journey. Where to Find Us: 🐦 Twitter: Follow us for bite-sized tips and updates! ✨ First Hackathon Experience: Tink-Her-Hack 3.0! ✨ On this Republic Day, while the country celebrated freedom and unity, I had my own little revolution—my first-ever hackathon🥳! From 3 PM on Jan 25th to 11 AM on Jan 26th, my incredible teammates Diya Nazeer and Anjana Satheesh joined me at LBSITW's Tink-Her-Hack 3.0 to build something close to our hearts💖: a Lost and Found platform for our college—we call it "ClaimSpot"! 👀 How it works: If you’ve lost something in college, you can post about it. If it’s found, the post can only be deleted by re-entering the same email used to create it. Simple, secure, and super handy💁♀️! Through the hackathon, I: 🌟 Learned collaborating on Git (a real game-changer!). 🌟 Got a firsthand experience of what a hackathon👩🏻💻 vibe truly is. 🌟 Connected with amazing people who were brimming with ideas and energy. 🌟 And of course, survived on pure adrenaline—because I didn’t sleep a wink! 😴😂 A huge shoutout to TinkerHub for organizing this amazing event and giving us this opportunity to learn and grow. 🙌 Check out the demo video👀: https://lnkd.in/gNd_SdSD and repo link🔗: https://lnkd.in/gf7SVAdn I’d love to hear your thoughts! 💬 PS: My first hackathon happening on Republic Day just feels symbolic—what better way to celebrate freedom than by diving into tech and innovation😎? #Hackathon #FirstHackathon #TinkHerHack #CodingJourney #LostAndFound #TinkerHub
