𝗞𝗮𝘇𝗮𝗸𝗵𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 #Kazakhstan ranked 43rd out of 147 countries in the global #happiness ranking compiled by the World Happiness Report. The annual report, prepared by the Oxford Centre for the Study of Well-Being, was published on March 20. #Finland has been the happiest country for eight years in a row, with an index of 7.736 (out of 10). #Denmark came in second (7.521), #Iceland came in third (7.515), followed by #Sweden and the #Netherlands. Among the Central Asian states, Kazakhstan took the lead with 6.378 points, ahead of its regional neighbors. Its closest rival, #Uzbekistan, took 53rd place with 6.193 points, #Kyrgyzstan took 75th place, and #Tajikistan was in 90th place. In 2024, Kazakhstan was ranked 49th with an index of 6.188. In the 2025 edition, the authors of the report focused on the impact of caring and giving on people’s happiness. Caring, they write, is good for both those who give it and those who receive it. In the report, they explored both of these effects and concluded that people are actually kinder than we think. The report's authors also noted that philanthropy levels in 2024 have declined from their peak during the COVID-19 pandemic.
