Exciting update from the September 17, 2024 CyberSecurity Summit! Honored to have attended and gained valuable insights from industry-leading experts from federal government #CISA, and many industry veterans from private industry who shared their vision, and strategies on safeguarding digital infrastructure. The discussions around emerging threats, zero-trust architectures, and the critical importance of AI in security operations were incredibly insightful. Last June, I had the pleasure of meeting 100 senior security leaders at Team8's annual Team8 Village Summit, to discuss the next innovation opportunities in cybersecurity. Drawing on the insights I gathered there, I co-authored the latest Team8 CISO Survey Report, which highlights the most pressing issues at the pulse of cybersecurity professionals: 💾 Data Security climbed up to be the #1 challenge for CISOs in 2024 🤝 Third-Party Risk Management continues to be a significant concern for nearly half of CISOs 💸 70% of CISOs reporting increased cybersecurity budgets compared to 2023. 🤖 AI is being viewed as a double-edged sword: 70% see it as a potential threat, while 85% view it as a powerful defense tool.
