Legacy software applications are the backbone of many healthcare operations. While they may still meet the needs they were originally designed for, they typically do not allow for growth, scalability and direct interaction with newer systems.  Businesses continue to use legacy systems due to their critical role in daily functions and business needs although the result is high maintenance costs, integration issues, security risks and lost opportunities. A Gartner 2024 survey stated “People are the biggest constraint in the people, process and technology trifecta associated with AI-readiness. As of last year, respondents cited 44% of the technologies were plagued by talent unavailability this year as well. It was identified as the biggest roadblock in the adoption of these emerging technologies. As per the 2024 Gartner Chief Data and Analytics Officers’ (CDAO) Agenda Survey, talent recruitment and retention woes have been among the top 3 challenges for D&A leaders over the past three years.” This premise holds true for applications in general, not only for AI adoption.  One of the core services at ACM Business Solutions is to deliver solutions to revitalize legacy application and regain a position of usefulness and interoperability between applications, thereby reducing the overall operating costs. Our enhanced add-on products for Care Management, EDI, Provider Inloads, Fee Schedules, Eligibility (and others) enhance productivity, reduces errors and can save the operations and IT staff valuable time.

Automation in Healthcare is a critical component, I often see that people are scared of change in highly regulated industries. I've even wondered how simple workflow improvements have not been implemented in HealthCare. I've seen some very large companies trying to run their entire operations on a single app called EXCEL! 🤣
