⭐️ New video release 📺: Bridging the worlds: pixi reimplements pip and conda in Rust Watch as Wolf Vollprecht, a conda-forge veteran, introduces Pixi - a modern package manager that seamlessly bridges the worlds of conda and pip in Rust, offering a new SAT solver and cross-platform compatibility. 📺 Watch the video on YouTube: https://lnkd.in/e-jKmMNW Wolf Vollprecht, CEO of prefix.dev, and Ruben Arts presented about Pixi, a modern package manager that combines conda and pip package management. Wolf, a conda-forge veteran, introduced the features of Pixi, such as the from-scratch SAT solver called resolvo and native lockfiles. Pixi, developed in Rust and as a single binary, provides a cross-platform task system with a simple syntax. They also discussed rip, a library for interoperability with PyPI packages, overcoming hurdles like lazy metadata fetching and resolving packages for different platforms. The talk highlighted the seamless integration of conda and PyPI in Pixi, showcasing benchmarks and emphasizing the value of the conda ecosystem. For more information, visit pixi.sh and prefix.dev.

I'm glad to share my new project "DocConverseGemini". It is an LLM application built using Google gemini pro model and langchain where we can query multiple pdf documents with the help of FAISS vector emebeddings and can fetch any information present inside the PDFs. Below is the small demo of project where i have uploaded 2 PDFs & on querying them it gives accurate results. You can also get the access of the project through my Huggingface space : https://lnkd.in/gQXT5bu6

I demoed the dltHub REST API Source on Alexey Grigorev's awesome open source spotlight. This video might help you: - Decide if this is the right tool for your job to be done because I speak about my design highlights and the background behind the project. - See advanced features in action from one of the contributors, design partners, and heavy users. - Learn recipes how to handle crazy APIs in practice. - See very recently added features in action that you might not have heard about yet (e.g. filtering and transforming results before loading them, custom auth magic). Check out the video description for a Colab notebook with many code examples! https://lnkd.in/gn5_HF2Z
