Just came across this fantastic learning brief on the BEAM Exchange: "MSD Approaches in Fragile and Conflict-Affected Situations" by Karri Goeldner Byrne. It offers actionable recommendations for implementers and donors on aligning humanitarian and development efforts. One of the points that resonated with me is the reality that we need numbers (quantitative results) to secure funding and demonstrate progress, even if the results are output-oriented. I highly recommend checking it out for more valuable insights.

🇬🇪 Sixteen years have passed since Russia's invasion of Georgia. 🇺🇸🤝🇬🇪 The main goal of the USAID Resilient Communities Program is to strengthen economic and social resilience of communities located adjacent to the territories temporarily occupied by Russia. The Program aims to create new opportunities, increase incomes, and generate new jobs in the target communities. The conference hosted by the Vatican-based Pontifical Academy of Sciences brought together thought leaders, researchers, and policymakers to address the pressing global challenge of food insecurity. Published by the prestigious Pontifical Academy of Sciences of the Vatican, the comprehensive proceedings highlight critical situations, including the case of Afghanistan.
