On a similar note, the AI-driven market intelligence platform AlphaSense secured $650 million in funding at a $4 billion valuation, with Viking Global Investors and BDT & MSD Partners leading the round. New investors J.P. Morgan Growth Equity Partners, SoftBank Vision Fund 2, Blue Owl Capital, and Alkeon Capital, along with existing investors CapitalG and Goldman Sachs Alternatives, also participated. As part of the deal, AlphaSense acquired expert research startup Tegus for around $930 million. 🚀 Yesterday I had a rare privilege of getting introduced to Nabeel Alamgir🦄 he happens to be the CEO of Lunchbox and a background information about him is that he raised $100M in funding towards other local businesses! Through the Headstarter AI #Pathways2Tech panel event, I met many other startups CEOs like Logan Havern the CEO of Datalogz who raised about $12M in funds, Miguel Acero the Co-Founder of Ruby Card (YC W23) and Dustin Beadle the Former Director at AMD - additionally I got to learn more about the employment opportunities from the CEO of Ruby Shariar Kabir 👉 https://spendruby.com/ While the panel commenced, I gained a lot of valuable insights from Nabeel Alamgir🦄 regarding the importance of knowing how to deal or handle rejections. He then shared his own story on getting rejected by over 72 investors before the 73rd investor decided to give him a shot. In his own words he told everyone that "people would often tell him that he was good at failing" but then he never viewed failure to be a positive trait at that time. Later, the speaker emphasized the requisite of being authentic to one's truest self whether you are applying for a specific job or you use an elevator pitch while conversing with a potential employer it is very crucial to live in one's reality authentically.
