Reflection Post! Is it healthy for the tech ecosystem to depend heavily on a single company? The recent Microsoft server outage left millions of users and businesses temporarily paralysed. While such incident can happens, it prompts us to rethink the dependence that a large part of the tech company has on one company. Microsoft, with its extensive range of could services from Azure to Office365, has become a backbone for many organisations. However, when this pillar fails, the impact is massive. This makes me think, are we adequately diversifying our technological infrastructure?
