Starting this week TrueFans will be focusing on making payments easier. Today we started on a simple way to transfer SATs from an existing Alby Wallet into a TrueFans wallet. This is vital before Alby close all custodial wallets on 4th Jan. We are also adding two new Activitystreams. A 'Discover' Activitystream of all user activity. e.g play, comment etc. You can already see this Activitystream working on https://truefans.social but we want to make this visible inside the TrueFans.fm app. The other Activitystream will be called 'For You' which is only people you follow in TrueFans. This is already available in your Activity Profile but we want to make it more visible/obvious from the homepage. We also plan to add a merch store to all podcast pages early next year. In addition we will offer creators the option to have a personalised branded url to mask their TrueFans url. For example https://lnkd.in/ebnwq_Xr might become https://podnewsweekly.news If we manage to achieve all of this, it will be full circle for me. RSS was originally created by my ex-boss Mike Homer at Netscape as a way to aggregate structured data from around the web into a Netscape Web Portal. i.e news, weather, sports etc. TrueFans would be creating a Podcast Portal page for each creator, with episodes, blogs, podrolls, events, ticketing etc. by using the RSS feed which contains all the structured information. #TrueFans #2025 #PodcastPortal

If you are a consumer business, building an app ecosystem is non negotiable to drive retention and achieve higher LTVs. Creating an app ecosystem means better DAU/MAU, better visibility of your product and offering and higher retention. A community led app ecosystem can deliver upon pretty much everything - product feedback, cross and upselling, UGC, customer support, brand partnerships - the list is practically endless. Community really is a swiss knife for any business but more so for a consumer business and Noise is a proof of it. With their crore plus revenue, top rating on app and play store and the #PurpleTickArmy that leads the moderation (of 20k+ posts/day) and engagement within community because they love being part of the community and the larger Noise.fit brand, they are the face of #CommunityLedGrowth. So if you're looking to get organic reach - this is a good place to start. 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 𝘁𝗶𝗽𝘀: 1. Selfie videos get the most traction. 2. Interesting background 3. Overlay captions 4. Less than 2 minutes in length 5. Teach something, share something Add video into your post mix ➝ Get more eyeballs NOTE: What works best in an ad video is different than an organic video.
