📊 Market Update - China smartphone market, 1Q 2024 With the #618 shopping promotions, the demand from the Chinese #smartphone market will be slowed down in March and April, taking the second quarter of the shipments to China to reach 69.24 million units, -0.1 QoQ and 10.3% YoY. #Apple, the only international smartphone vendor competing with local brands, is anticipated to experience a significant 22.4% decline in the second quarter, due to the disappointing reception of its new model and the launch of #Huawei's new #Pura70 series. Despite discussions about #6G, its deployment remains distant, and #AI continues to be the primary marketing focus for all brands. This has led to a decrease of 85 million shipments in 2024 compared to the peak in 2019, prior to the COVID-19 pandemic. 👍 Check out our forecasts, market trends, Chinese smartphone shipments, key factors and much more: https://lnkd.in/gTdM2HZZ ✍️ Luke Lin
