I've just had the privilege of joining Richard Oldfield and Megan Barnett to present our annual results and a strategy update. I've been assured us for 18 years, the last 6 Chief Investment Officer. Today was an opportunity for me to explain while we're still such passionate advocates of active management, for us, it is a culture that permeates every aspect of our business. It's a curiosity that makes us want to invest in innovation, it's a determination to do our absolute best for our clients, and it's a belief that a forward-looking approach to the risks our clients confront is essential. Now in my 28 year investment career, I must say it's never felt easy. But certainly today our clients do confront an unusual set of risks. The 10 largest companies are now 37% of the S&P 500, and we've seen a dramatic shift in the macroeconomic and political environment. On top of this, our clients are facing regulatory challenges and disruption within their own industries. The focus on research and excellence that are active approach implies positions us as thoughtful experts whose knowledge can be pivoted towards supporting our clients more complex problems and overarching objectives. Central to everything we do is the investment performance that we deliver for our clients and we have an excellent track record. How? Active management is our sole focus, no distractions and our cultures built on fostering investment talent and ensuring the highest level of accountability for investment performance day by day, year by year and basis point by basis point.
