⚠️⚠️SURVEYS FOR SPR AND NATIONAL GRID PROJECTS CONTINUE. ANXIETY AMONGST LOCAL COMMUNITIES INCREASES.⚠️⚠️ There is a lot of visible developer survey activity happening along cable routes for ScottishPower and National Grid projects across the region, 𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙡𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙝𝙤𝙧𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨, 𝘼𝙡𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙝𝙖𝙢, 𝙆𝙣𝙤𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡, 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙣, 𝙒𝙖𝙡𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙬𝙞𝙘𝙠, 𝙍𝙚𝙮𝙙𝙤𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙎𝙖𝙭𝙢𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙝𝙖𝙢. ❗️𝗣𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀.❗️ None of this activity is actual implementation work. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙡𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝙢𝙖𝙮 𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙩𝙤 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙥𝙚𝙤𝙥𝙡𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙠 𝙞𝙩’𝙨 𝙖 𝙙𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙖𝙡. 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲, 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀. There are local vulnerable residents particularly on the front line, who may be feeling overwhelmed and anxious about these threats. SEAS has consulted with ESC and with a professional counsellor. 𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗲 𝘃𝘂𝗹𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽.
