Chinese Lunar New Year 2025: Why is it the Year of the Snake? 2025 is the Year of the Snake according to the Chinese zodiac calendar, a 12-year cycle represented by animals. Each year is associated with a specific animal, influencing the characteristics of those born under its sign. Babies born in 2025 will be snakes, following 2024's dragons and preceding 2026's horses. The cycle continues with the Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig, each representing a different year in the repeating 12-year sequence.
Happy Chinese New Year to our customers, followers and partners who are celebrating today. Wishing you all a prosperous and positive start to the Year of the Snake. 🐍

I found this post to be very interesting. Clearly, a league table featuring best to worst. But also need to consider the starting point. Look at the EM vs the DM. A fascinating look, with some idiosyncratic subplots and a value stories embedded within. Jacqueline, thanks for sharing! Something to think about.
It’s always good to start the year on a positive note. There’s a lot of positivity in Southeast Asia.

The Chinese New Year, celebrated as the Spring Festival in China, marks a time of renewal, reflection, and resilience. As we welcome the Year of the Snake in 2025, symbolized by the Wood Snake, we are reminded of the snake’s qualities: adaptability, wisdom, and transformation. These traits are essential for navigating the challenges ahead. The Wood Snake, in particular, encourages growth through patience and strategic thinking. Like the snake shedding its skin, we must be willing to let go of outdated habits and embrace change. Challenges, whether personal or professional, are opportunities to innovate and grow. Leverage available resources—technology, community support, and education—to stay ahead. This Chinese New Year, set clear goals and remain flexible in your approach. Celebrate your heritage, draw strength from your roots, and use the wisdom of the past to build a brighter future. By combining tradition with modern tools, you can adapt, thrive, and make the Year of the Snake a transformative one.

As we step into the Year of the Snake, I want to take a moment to reflect on the qualities this symbol represents—wisdom, agility, and transformation. In the world of business, just as in life, these traits are what drive us forward. The snake teaches us that resilience isn’t about brute force but about adaptability—shedding the old to make way for the new. Over the past year, we have all navigated challenges, made tough decisions, and embraced change. This new year is our chance to move with purpose, sharpen our strategies, and seize new opportunities with confidence. To my team, partners, and fellow leaders—let’s channel the Snake’s keen instincts to stay ahead, its patience to time our moves wisely, and its ability to evolve so that we emerge stronger than ever. Wishing you and your loved ones a prosperous, fulfilling, and transformative Lunar New Year! 🐍🏮 #LunarNewYear #YearOfTheSnake #Transformation #Leadership #Growth #EzyProcure #EzyPayment #SGeBiz
Wishing you a Prosperous & Joyous Chinese New Year! 🏮🐉💰 May this year bring you success, good fortune, and endless opportunities. Thank you for your continuous support. Let’s achieve greater heights together in the year ahead! Gong Xi Fa Cai! 🧧

As we celebrate the **third day of Chinese New Year**—a time to embrace warmth, renewal, and the bonds of teamwork—I want to extend my heartfelt wishes to all of you. May your year ahead be filled with: 🔹 **Smooth code** and **bug-free deployments** (with coffee breaks aplenty!), 🔹 **Innovative breakthroughs** that light up the digital world, 🔹 **Collaborative success** as strong as a well-architected system, 🔹 **Balance** between screens and serenity, and 🔹 **Abundance** in health, happiness, and prosperity! Though today is traditionally a day for staying cozy (avoiding the "Red Mouth," as the saying goes 😉), let’s also take pride in the invisible threads we weave—connecting the world through technology. **Gōng Xǐ Fā Cái!** 🧨 May your servers stay cool, your algorithms stay sharp, and your passion for tech never dim!

COUNT ON ME, SINGAPORE" BY MATT-Q https://lnkd.in/gxjRSQB8 I grew up with this National Day song classic. Now that I am.a lot older, I realise increasingly that the act of 'counting on' should not be primarily about achievements and one's capabilities per se. Rather, we count on those whom we know we can trust their hearts, character, what they believe in and stand for consistently. It is the reliability, dependability and honesty of others that causes us to trust them after a period observation and testing. Similarly, that's what our nation needs. In terms of first world status infrastructure, systems and processes, we have tons of these. What we really need are those who do not run or complain at the first sign of trouble, who are willing to invest time and energy in the lives of others and have a sense of genuine rootedness to their families and others who do care for them. Mere content can only impart head knowledge and students often write them off cynically as propaganda. There is nothing as powerful and influential as real life individuals who practice what they preach and where we know that their hearts are in the right place. That kind of moral influence and modelling is what really shows the reality of convictions and beliefs and is what inspires others to become others can 'count on' #countonmesingapore #clementchow #ndp #nationaldaysingapore #matthewqueksingapore
