Figma now has an MCP server to talk to Cursor 🤯 And it's completely free and opensource. This changes everything for designers and developers. The Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration creates a seamless bridge between your design tool and AI Agent. → No more context switching → No more manual translations → No more design-to-code friction Here's what you can do with it: ↳ Read Figma document data directly in Cursor ↳ Create design elements programmatically ↳ Modify styling and layout with simple commands ↳ Export nodes as images without leaving your workflow Setting it up is straightforward: 1. Add the MCP server to your Cursor configuration 2. Start the WebSocket server 3. Connect the Figma plugin to your channel This integration fundamentally transforms how we work. Your AI assistant now understands your visual designs. Your code editor speaks directly to your design tool. Your workflow becomes fluid rather than fragmented. This is the power of opensource tools working together. What part of your design-to-code workflow would you streamline with this integration? f you are interested in building AI Agents and RAG app, I have created 50+ tutorials and opensourced them for free: Two simple steps to get started: 1. Amazing to see how MCP servers are making workflows faster and more intuitive
Love this!!

the dream team come true!
Now Make.com has got its MCP. Great to see MCP becomes a standard.
I agree it is improving the workflow a lot! Unfortunately, It still does not take lots of screens into context, I find myself reaching the limit with only 3 mockups. Knowing that a Figma file can have tons of screens... This is a limitation. But I think for turning components into react, it's doing a pretty decent job if all constraints are mentioned to the agent. Then we can play with the agent to assemble these components :) I would love the MCP to take into account the whole flow through the prototype and make interactions and animations into code. That would be a game-changer. Excited to see future improvements in this!
