The article below answers the most common questions regarding the NLC. If you are a traveler living in a compact state, you should 100% have a compact license by now to make your travel assignments go more smoothly and to save money from needing lots of different state licenses to maintain. The National Association of Travel Healthcare Organizations (NATHO) and Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA) are presenting an informative webinar Sept. 18 to review results of our recent "SIA NATHO Travel Nurse Trends and Insights Report." SIA was commissioned by NATHO to analyze historical travel nurse benchmarking data in order to understand trends in traveler pay, pricing, and other operational metrics. A few key findings from the 2024 report are: 📈 After travel nurse billable hours increased more than 50%, the industry experienced sharp contraction in 2023. 📈 Technology can offer healthcare professionals better work-life balance, ultimately reducing burnout and increasing employee satisfaction. 📈 The chronic and ongoing nursing shortage has further fueled a nursing crisis; however, a growing body of nursing students offers hope. 📈 Recent legislation poses challenges for the travel nurse industry with legislation more challenging to accommodate in certain states. Dive deeper into this fascinating research by attending our exclusive webinar.
