There is so much talk about about #AI right now. How to use it, is it secure, does it breach ownership and copyright, why should we use it, what is it's purpose - all really good questions to which we have too few good answers. Kiran Nambiar's opinion piece below calls out the importance of AI that we identify with as we build MyFi by TIFIN. A massive problem of inclusion, access and growth that cannot be addressed by manpower alone, and an opportunity and purpose for AI, to level the playing field. Do read -->

Happy to share below my latest for #BRR on AI risks in financial services.
🤝 Banking should adopt the “shared responsibility framework” used by the cloud computing sector to tackle risks posed by artificial intelligence, the head of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency has declared. ➗ Accountability would be divided among developers, platform providers and users of AI, Michael J Hsu has proposed in a major speech. 🌥 Under the cloud computing framework, security responsibilities are successfully split between providers, such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure, and end-user customers. 🇺🇸 The Financial Stability Oversight Council and the US Artificial Intelligence Safety Institute would help develop controls for such a future safety framework, Hsu said. This would align responsibility with the capability to manage AI risks effectively. 🗣 “In the cloud computing context, the ‘shared responsibility model’ allocates operations, maintenance and security responsibilities to customers and cloud-service providers depending on the service a customer selects,” said Hsu. “A similar framework could be developed for AI.” 👀 Read more below.
