We’re proud of how you’re stepping up to help communities affected by the Los Angeles wildfires, team. Just a few examples? Target’s donating $1 million to local and national disaster relief organizations like the League of California Community Foundations (pictured supporting a supply drive over the weekend). Part of that donation also went to our Team Member Giving Fund, to meet our team members’ immediate needs in the hardest-hit areas. Our T-553 distribution center team in Fontana, California, donated 1,000 towels for shelters operated by the Red Cross. And across the state and the country, team members are pitching in to help those affected by the emergency. Check out these pics of our teams and partners in action. Keep going #TeamTarget. You inspire us every day. #WeAreTarget

Very disappointed in Target for discontinuing your DEI initiatives. For years, Target touted that they were big advocates for equity. To suddenly rollback those values, days before Black History Month begins, shows how much of a LIE this was. You’ve lost a loyal customer.

So disappointed to learn that you so willingly gave up the values you claimed were central to the work you did. It’s so clear you don’t understand your customer base at all. After decades of being loyal customers, we will now be spending our money elsewhere.

I was a proud“touch key professional” (e.g. cashier) at Target in high school and loyal customer ever since. But no more. Really sad and disappointed that this beloved Minnesota company would so quickly bow to political pressure. I thought you were better than this.

For many years, I have been fortunate to live very close to Target and often shop at my neighborhood store.  However,...I am now writing to tell you just how disappointed I am with Target for abandoning DEI initiatives.  I am more than disappointed - I am disgusted that you would cave in to the right wing hate. I will no longer shop at Target.  Anything I need, I can find at Costco, who is NOT afraid to stand up for principles of diversity, equality and inclusion.

Target we paid the slightly more expensive prices because we believed in your values, in being inclusive and supporting the full community. This is disappointing but it just gives me better clarity on who I spend my money with.
