The ADNA Presents Will Schell!🤩 Check out the FULL episode here: https://lnkd.in/gmu7bmDV (ID: text reads, "The ADNA Presents Will Schell," with a quote, “How many people don't know that audio description even exists or that they have access to it. So many blind people, of course, know that it exists, but they don't know that their current TV can turn it on or that the set-top box that they have has the ability to turn it on. And the one thing that happens, I think, especially for older people, so, you know, the largest population of blind people are elderly who didn't get all of the training and information and access to the blind library services and things like that when they were younger. And so just even informing blind people that this exists, I think, is also another really critical area.” In the middle of the image, a logo with text in a circle reads, “The Audio Description Network Alliance.”)

Great to see OII alumnus James Williams on BBC Studios Radio 4's "Appetite for Distraction" programme, discussing the future of attention, persuasive design, and the wider implications of how big tech platforms manipulate our attention. "Attention is the essential phenomenon of will, and that will is the basis of democracy and politics, so if something is undermining our attention, it's therefore undermining human will," he says. "Technology can make it harder to want what we want to want." Great insights from James and other contributors in the final episode, "The Future of Attention." 'Government is just a service like any other service. There's nothing special about it.' These words from my latest guest, Dr. Titus Gebel, keep echoing in my head. Think about it: We accept a deal where someone else decides what phone we must buy, what color it must be, and how much we must pay for it. And we MUST buy it. That's basically how government works today. But what if there was another way? Episode link 👇 https://lnkd.in/dg6fVmzi #MizterRadShow #FutureCities

This single final episode in the series does a concise reprise of the dynamics in each of the 43 constituencies- how the campaign mattered 🧐🤔
Calling It: The Aftermath The counting is over, the seats have been filled and talks to form a government are underway - but did Ivan Yates and Sean Defoe call it correctly? In the final episode, Ivan and Sean look back at their seat predictions in all 43 constituencies. Where did they get it right? And where did they get it wrong? It’s time to stage a coup d'état within your own business! When there are revolutions in countries, the rebels go to get the President to imprison or kill them. But at the same time they always go and take control of the broadcaster networks. The radio stations, the TV channels, and media outlets. This is because they want to control the message and drive attention. If you want to hit your goals for 2025, I recommend staging a coup in your business. Take over the airwaves on social media, email campaigns, and other outlets (events, podcasts, conferences, and more). The game is ALL about attention and who can drive it more and control the narrative. Will it be you or your competitors?
