Today did a Paid Consultation for freelancer making $10k-$15k/month to Launch his Coaching Business. These are things I shared in the Launch & Grow Blueprint customized for his scenario. 1. If you're really serious about your freelance career in 2025 ... you're going to need to invest in yourself. Not doing so will hold you back. I know this without a doubt. I didn't invest in myself or my business for 2 years. And I went round in circles. Scraping by and making do and questioning and doubting myself. 👎 As soon as I started investing in courses and 1:1 business coaching, I really got my dreams off the ground. 👍A membership that 100 people signed up to 👍Two courses that 48 (and counting) people have been through 👍A full calendar of 1:1 clients 👍Increased impact, increased income and increased freedom I'd never done any of those things before. I was an events fundraiser. But having people who had been there and done it by my side, who understood my work and what I was trying to create, who could speak from experience is how I created the work life I really desired. And once I made that decision to invest, I made more progress in 3 months than I'd made in the preceding 2 years. I know its scary. Believe in yourself. Jump in. ❤️

My 7 biggest mistakes as a new business owner (And how I fixed them) I've been running a business for over 3 years But these mistakes, I wish I'd have avoided sooner 1. Not promoting myself - If I don't do it, no one else will do it! 2. Not asking for testimonials - I'd cringe asking for them, but these are the best social proofs 3. Not networking at all - Being an introvert is hard, but now I try my best to build relationships 4. Spending more time on Fiverr - I was caught in a mediocre freelance mindset more, rather than running a business 5. Not building relationships with freelancers - They are not competition, rather they can help you in your journey 6. Not asking for referrals - Your existing clients can best provide you with referrals 7. Not delegating and building SOP - Was caught in doing repeated tasks that took me so much time I had made many mistakes when I started And I even made it today in my journey But learning is a big curve that has shaped me and my business Building a business is a ROLLERCOASTER You have too many highs, low's and lots of learning in the way P.S.
