Many will be familiar with the practice of asking for referrals in business networking groups but do you have a process for asking your existing and past clients for referrals? Here are my 5 tops tips on referrals. 1. When asking your business connections be specific about who you want to be introduced to. This makes it easy for other business owners to identify who they know 2. When asking your clients to refer you make sure they know what a good referral looks like 3. Have a referral system that you can run easily and consistently 4. Be appreciative of referrals and recommendations you receive. Say 'Thank You' - remember people don't have to do it. 5. Return the favour - recommend and refer people you know to businesses you trust #businessowners #success #businessdevelopment
