𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿: In his “Quiet Drones 2024” 𝗸𝗲𝘆𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀, “𝗣𝘀𝘆𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗮𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗸 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀,” our colleague Prof. Roland Sottek reviewed the SHM Loudness (based on the Sottek Hearing Model, recently standardized in ECMA 418-2), a new approach to time-varying loudness based on a nonlinear combination of partial tonal and noise loudness (as part of the SHM Tonality, standardized in ECMA 418-2). The aim is to better account for the fact that the loudness of tonal components, i.e., tonal loudness, may have a stronger influence on loudness perception than the loudness caused by the other components, i.e., noise loudness. LiDAR-to-image-based method for metric distance estimation with 3D bounding box projections onto the image. This demonstration shows that despite the general difficulty of the BEV representation in understanding features related to the height coordinate, it is possible to extract all parameters characterizing the bounding boxes of the objects, including their height and elevation. Interested in learning more about digital twin technology? This article is a great read by Associated General Contractors of Alaska
The Associated General Contractors of Alaska fall issue showcases how our advanced 3D imaging technology is transforming project management across Alaska’s remote and challenging locations from LiDAR to drone-based imaging. We're grateful to STG Incorporated, Meridian Management, Inc., and GCI Communication Corp. for sharing their perspectives, as well as writer Kevin, who listened patiently and deftly assembled it all. Don't just showcase your products - demonstrate the real-world impact. Case in point: Our recent LUNA NG drone project. Instead of static displays, we created an interactive 3D simulation showing its rapid deployment, wide-area surveillance, and stealth capabilities in action. The result? A memorable experience that brings the tech to life and speaks directly to decision-makers' needs. What's the most impactful defense tech display you've seen at a trade show? #DefenseTech #TradeShowStrategy #3DVisualization #SentinelStudios

Reflecting on 2024: A Fantastic Year of Growth and Resilience As 2024 draws to a close, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on what has been an incredibly challenging yet rewarding year for DJM Aerial Solutions. Running a business is never without its hurdles, and this year was no exception. However, through determination, adaptability, and incredible effort, we’ve managed not only to overcome challenges but also to achieve significant growth. At DJM Aerial Solutions, we pride ourselves on delivering cutting-edge remote inspection for industrial environments. This year, we navigated complex projects, embraced new technologies like the Elios 3, and expanded our capabilities in confined space inspections, thermal imaging, and LiDAR surveys. Each challenge presented an opportunity to innovate, refine our processes, and strengthen the services we provide to our clients. The growth we’ve experienced wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of our clients, who continue to challenge us to push boundaries and think differently. Looking ahead to 2025, I am excited to see where the next chapter takes us. As we continue to innovate and expand, our mission remains the same: to deliver exceptional value and help businesses safely and efficiently inspect and survey their critical assets. Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey this year—here’s to an even brighter 2025! #DroneTechnology #BusinessGrowth #Innovation #ConfinedSpaceInspection #IndustrialSurvey #2025 #djmaerial
