Some pretend they don't care... Something I have noticed through the years is a group of people who say they don't care about style or appearance. They insist that it’s not important what you look like. And yet, they spend a lot of time and mental effort looking like they don't care. 😆 Some even bash others for making a visible effort to look their best. Which means they care a lot! 🤭 They care about projecting an image of someone who doesn't care, which also means: they HAVE a style. A style that conforms with the group they want to be accepted by. 🙊 They just don't want to admit it. 🙅🏽♀️ 😬 Or they don't understand that that's what they're doing. Care about how they look AND how people perceive them. Do you know anyone like that? ********* #UnexpectedPerspectives #PersonalDevelopment #ProfessionalWomen #WomenLeadership #FemaleLeaders #SustainableFashion #EcoFriendlyFashion #PersonalStyle #VintageStyle #FastFashion #Fashion

🌟 What 2024 Taught Me: The Transformative Power of Fashion and Connection 🌟 As I reflect on 2024, one powerful truth stands out: fashion has the ability to transform—and so does connection. The past year, through fashion styling events and personal styling sessions, I shared with 100’s of women, how a thoughtfully curated outfit can spark confidence, joy, and empowerment. Seeing someone light up when they realise their style reflects their true self is nothing short of magical. But what I was reminded of even more deeply was the power of connection. At every event, I saw women re connecting with their fabulous selves, strangers become collaborators, shared laughter turn into lasting friendships, and the energy of like-minded people lifting each other higher. Confidence isn’t just about what we wear; it’s about the community we create. Joy isn’t just a new outfit; it’s the shared experience of growth and celebration. As we step into 2025, I’m carrying these lessons with me: ✨ Fashion is a tool, but connection is the foundation. ✨ Style can transform how you feel, but shared experiences transform who we are. ✨ Confidence grows when we’re seen, heard, and supported by those who understand us. To everyone I’ve had the privilege of styling, working with, and connecting with in 2024: thank you. You’ve reminded me that transformation happens not just in what we wear, but in the bonds we build. Here’s to a 2025 filled with style, confidence, joy—and meaningful connection. 💫 What are you bringing with you into 2025? Let’s inspire each other in the comments! 👇 #Transformation #PersonalStyling #Connection #FashionWithPurpose #Confidence

Inclusive fashion has long been a buzzword, yet children's clothing still lag behind significantly. Our goal should be to ensure that all kids, regardless of size, find clothes that fit them perfectly without financial strain. Fashion should reflect the diversity of the children who wear it. Brands must innovate and create solutions that cater to every child's unique needs, instilling confidence and comfort through accessible fashion options. Who’s ready to join in pushing for inclusivity in kids’ fashion? Let’s unite our voices and advocate for change. 🌍

Redefining Dressing: Gen Z's Fashion Revolution and the Nudity debate In the thinking of Generation Z, clothing is transformed beyond its original function—originally intended to cover up naked bodies—to a medium for identity and in support of values. This global trend is further propagated by social media (see Instagram and TikTok) since what one wears has always been a fundamental tool with which to self present. Still, this transition generally manifests as less clothing so it will raise the nudity vs. modesty issue. At the Heart of Gen Z -Inclusive Diversity Increasingly, this generation pushes the boundaries around traditional gender norms—and often openly identifies as non-binary and/or fluid. Clothes have turned into an outlet to explore and celebrate all these different versions of yourself, sometimes a little too unapologetically or traditionally modest. The traditional fashion cycle is only one of the reasons why Gen Zers engage with trends differently. They also approach fashion in a way that aligns far more closely to sustainability and ethical considerations than any other generation preceding them …..

Genuine question for the fashion industry: why do plus-size brands often rely on licensed characters from TV and film for their designs❓ It's puzzling to consider why fashion for plus-size women is frequently adorned with cartoon characters or novelty prints. These designs might be playful, but they don't always align with a professional setting. It's as if the industry is perpetually infantilizing women by design choices. Why is this the default approach❓ As someone deeply invested in size-inclusive fashion, I find it crucial to address these patterns and question the underlying mindset. We need to elevate the conversation around what true empowerment and representation look like in fashion. Let's dig into this mindset together and push for more thoughtful, inclusive designs that respect and reflect the diverse lives of plus-size women. If you know the reasoning behind this trend or have thoughts to share, please comment below❗️ __________________________________________________________ 🚨 Stay tuned - Hit the follow button to get more consumer insights. #plussizefashion #sizeinclusivity #fashionindustry #inclusivefashion #BusinessOfFashion #fashionexpert #socialcommerce #infantilizing
