As part of its celebration of National Agriculture Day, USDA hosted a youth leadership panel at its Washington, DC headquarters. Young leaders from The National FFA Organization, National 4-H Council, Agriculture Future of America and the National Grange Youth Organization, among other groups, engaged with USDA senior leaders who shared their experiences, including Senior Advisor to the Secretary for Food, Nutrition, and Consumer Services Jennifer Tiller, Administrator of the National Agriculture Statistics Service Joseph Parsons, Administrator of the Foreign Agricultural Service Daneil Whitely, and Chief Economist Seth Meyer.    This was an opportunity for students to learn more about the professional backgrounds of the USDA leaders advancing our nation’s strategic priorities in food, agriculture, natural resource and human services. USDA is proud to partner with student organizations to assist youth to meet and exceed their potential and unlock countless career paths.

So cool… the translations of tools and works of better while understanding the concepts of fear and control process in policy, markets, and a host of group dynamics… what is private and public concerns and how are those needs and solutions created while keeping human rights in the fore front of understanding. The health, climate and tools work and how they are heard… echoed and rippled… Understanding these large and small intersections, with learning… pretty darn amazing… It never ceases to amaze me, how very important these types of things are… thank you so much. #LoveEVICTShate #integritymatters
