Today was quite amusing I had a good laugh as a competitor called me and attempted to quiz me on various aspects like forklift engines, tires, weight, and tipping capacities, all while pretending to be a customer. It was a moment of recognition for me - knowing that I could easily spot their game. I must be doing something right to garner that sort of attention. In the realm of business, it's not just about making a sale. While selling based solely on price may yield short-term gains, sustained success stems from offering expert guidance, establishing trust, and ensuring continuous support long after the transaction is completed. To those trying to outpace local forklift dealers with pricing strategies beyond their territories—across different states, no less—remember that what truly sets us apart is our commitment to customer care, service excellence, and an unwavering dedication to doing what’s right. In sales, it's all about building relationships and earning trust. A customer can buy from anyone – but they choose to trust *you*.
