Former President and CEO of CVS Health Karen Lynch knows that #healthcare isn't an industry, it's a human need. Karen and Korn Ferry's Katie Bell joined the #WBLSummit stage to discuss how women leaders must choose to take up space — in the C-suite, in the boardroom, and in life — to make a difference. Here's what we learned: ⭐ Relationships are key. Building a "personal advisory board" of trusted peers to bounce ideas off of, learn from, and share advice with is essential. ⭐ Stay on top of new technology, or it (and your competitors) will leave you in the dust. ⭐ Consumers want change — it's time for fearless, bold innovation that puts the patient at the center of healthcare. ⭐ Yesterday’s pages are already written. You can’t change the past, but you can plan for the next chapter. ⭐ There's power in numbers and power in support. Women leaders have to be there for each other for the highs AND the lows.
