I was delighted to hear Prime Minister Lawrence Wong's emphasis on the simplification of doing business in Singapore during the recent National Day Rally. As a robotics startup, we have faced many challenges in bringing our innovative solutions to the market, especially in terms of regulatory compliance and approval. One of the areas that we are most looking forward is the possibility of multiple agencies working together to simplify the application procedures for robots to travel on public roads for delivery, cleaning and patrolling. This would open up a huge opportunity for many local robotics companies to deploy their robots in various sectors and scenarios, such as e-commerce, hospitality, security and more. We believe that these robots can provide a safe, efficient and convenient service to the public, while reducing the reliance on human labor and resources. Another area that we are looking forward to is the integration of robots with lifts, which many Asian countries have already implemented. This would enable mobile robots to access different floors of buildings and deliver goods or perform tasks without human intervention. This would also enhance the user experience and satisfaction, as well as the productivity and profitability of our clients. We are grateful to the Prime Minister and the government for their vision and support for the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in Singapore. We hope that the simplification of doing business in Singapore will become a reality soon, and that we can contribute to the nation's growth and development with our robotics solutions.

Back from an exciting week in China 🇨🇳, where we had our first mini-mini build of the CA1 robot! While we couldn’t bring it back home just yet (I tried though 😝), 2025 is going to be the year when CA1 is officially built and delivered across Europe! It’s amazing to be part of Circus Group and making our strides in China, a market where robotics 🤖 isn’t just welcomed but fully embraced and supported in every way. China is honestly nothing short of a modern-day miracle. A country that used to look to the West for inspiration is now setting the global standard in innovation. From foldable 3-sided phones and affordable EVs to robotics restaurants and AI-driven smart cities, their progress is next-level. Imagine, the Shanghai subway displays the next 3 trains arrival times in seconds, along with how full each compartment is. When I first came to China in 2008 to study for my bachelor’s degree, it was such a different place. Back then, theft wasn’t uncommon, traffic lights were often ignored, and the air quality was awful. Now, it’s clean streets, spotless public places, and an incredible order everywhere you go (Of course it takes a minute to get used to cameras, but the feeling of safety you get after is worth it). Technology isn’t just about innovation here; it’s seamlessly integrated into daily life. I’m so excited about what’s next for us in China and can’t wait to see Circus Group grow in such a remarkable market! PS: “fueling humanity” on my hoodie is our slogan. Can’t wait to see many people across all China wearing such merch 😎 Haomiao Fang Helge Plehn
