***Loving Others Without Words**

***Loving Others Without Words**

My son's therapy program was closed today. So, I worked with him by my side. I listened to candidates share their goals and elaborate on their strengths and eloquent leadership philosophies. The little boy seated next sat silently. He cannot speak (genetic deletion, brain abnormality). As I listened to candidates, I was struck by this question: What if I had NO voice and my life was defined ONLY by my actions?

What if we did not have the luxury of articulating our strengths or bolstering our leadership prowess with words; instead, our actions literally needed to speak for themselves. Would you measure up?

Action item: This summer, get out and DO something, preferably that thing you always talk about... Be loving, generous, patient, kind, and empathetic in word AND DEED.

Pics above: Hunter lovingly sending his sister off to HS graduation with a kiss; Hunter washing dishes and helping at school; Hunter kindly laying his hands and lips on the newly shaved head of a woman with brain cancer.
