You want to avoid channel failure.

 

What channels you build and how you build them is your sales strategy. If you’re good you’ll build channels or roads people travel down. If you’re bad you’ll build roads no one uses at great expense to you. As you’re constructing these roads you might want to reflect on a few concepts:

  1. Build different channels. People like to travel to you in different ways. 
  2. Build several channels. Don’t bet all your chips on one channel. 
  3. Build unique channels you believe in. If you have the same channels as everyone else you better have a very different experience. Believe in them or don’t build them. 
  4. Continuously inspect and improve your channels. Measure how easy it is to traverse your channels and what volumes they are built to handle.
