Windows 365 – can you believe it?

Windows 365 – can you believe it?

Wow! Windows 365 was a big surprise, but definitely a welcome one! Satya Nadella, Chairman and CEO of Microsoft made the announcement at the annual Microsoft Inspire Conference which we attend each year. We wanted to give you a first look at what’s to come…

Windows 365 from the cloud

Windows 365 Cloud PC promises to deliver a new way to experience Windows 10 or Windows 11 (when it’s available later this year) through cloud technology. You’ll be able to stream all personalised applications, tools, data, and settings from the cloud across any of your devices. This includes laptops, tablets, mobiles, Macs, iPads and even non-Windows devices like Linux and Android!

Gain access anywhere and on different devices

Windows 365 provides a more personalised, powerful experience; you’ll be able to access your apps, data and settings on different devices, any time, anywhere. Whether you’re commuting via train, logging in at home, in a park or in the car, Windows 365 will provide more flexibility for you whether you’re using a personal or work device. For companies, Windows 365 will help teams to be more productive through flexible working in a style which suits them. Windows 365 secures and stores information in the cloud, not on the device, so you can ensure your connection is secure.

Great for home working

Research estimates that 60% of UK workers are still working from home, over a year since the COVID-19 outbreak. People want flexible working options to stay – balancing multiple priorities like childcare, home schooling, pick-ups and drop-offs mean a blended approach of working from home and the office is a priority. Windows 365 promises the flexibility that people have come to need.

Grow your business

You’ll be able to save time and money when hiring contractors and freelancers by not having to set them up with new devices and not having to set up specific software.

Windows 365 supports your business apps – Microsoft 365, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform and more. Using the latest technology will help attract and retain your most talented staff, helping you scale your business and attract new clients and uncover new business opportunities, whilst remaining secure.

When can I get my hands on Windows 365?

Windows 365 software will be available on 2nd August, so not long to wait!

If you’d like to find out more about Windows 365, or even support with your upgrade plan, we can help.
