Recruiting is a tough mission. It means hiring a few people and rejecting many candidates every day. In our SmartRecruiters'platform, we see millions of people turned down every month. To reverse the often frustrating experience of these candidates, SmartRecruiters initiated Reverse Recruiting. During dedicated sessions, recruiters and hiring managers help these candidates translate and sell their valuable skills and experience. We work with local nonprofits supporting overlooked candidates who have a hard time translating and selling their valuable skills, experience biases and have often been rejected multiple times throughout their application processes. Among them are immigrants, veterans, formerly incarcerated individuals, parents and caregivers returning to work, seniors, minority communities and candidates who haven’t yet found a job.
