There’s some sweet news for fans of Carnegie Deli’s salty, oversized sandwiches.

More than two years after the iconic original Midtown meat mecca closed, the brand known for its pastrami on rye is being revived as a food truck for three days this week in New York City. And the best part — sandwiches and cookies will be given out free.

The promotion is tied to the Amazon Prime Video series “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” and TV’s Upfront events this week, where networks introduce their new shows in an attempt to sell ads and generate media buzz. Last December, tied to the second season of the period comedy-drama that takes place in the late 1950s, Prime Video opened a version of the deli as an eight-day popup in Lower Manhattan, selling sandwiches for under a buck and hosting thousands of guests.

The new food truck will operate Monday through Wednesday and be stationed at different spots around Manhattan.

Amazon Prime Video is promoting its “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” series with a limited-time Carnegie Deli food truck that will travel around Manhattan for three days.

“We’re delighted to bring ‘The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ Carnegie Deli back to NYC, but this time, on wheels,” said Mike Benson, Amazon Prime Video’s head of marketing. “We figured that New Yorkers and those attending the Upfronts could use a good meal.”

The video-on-demand and streaming service worked with the owners of the Carnegie Deli to create the “The Midge Maisel” sandwich — named for the show’s central character, housewife turned stand-up comedian Miriam “Midge” Maisel — and made with pastrami, salami, coleslaw and Russian dressing on rye. Those seeking a somewhat healthier option can choose the “The Susie” Sandwich — named for Midge’s manager Susie Myerson — and made with turkey, coleslaw and Russian dressing on rye.

Vintage soda and black-and-white cookies will also be available.

Just like the pop-up last December, Prime Video teamed up with creative production partner Tool of North America to make the Carnegie Deli food truck happen.

Remaining stops on the food truck tour include Monday, from 5 to 7 p.m. at 55 Wall St.; Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 10 E. 37th St. and then from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at 1886 Broadway; and on Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. to noon at 429 7th Ave. and again from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. at 911 7th Ave. Visit homeofthemaisel.com to learn more.
