1970年9月19日生まれ。滋賀県出身。

1996年、ソロプロジェクト”T.M.Revolution”として「独裁-monopolize-」でデビュー。以降、「HIGH PRESSURE」「HOT LIMIT」「WHITE BREATH」「INVOKE -インヴォーク-」などヒット曲多数。2021年にT.M.Revolutionデビュー25周年を迎え、47都道府県ツアー「T.M.R. LIVE REVOLUTION ’22-‘23 -VOTE JAPAN-」を開催し成功を収める。

2018年からは西川貴教名義での音楽活動を本格的に開始。2024年にリリースした「FREEDOM」(西川貴教 with t.komuro／『機動戦士ガンダムSEED FREEDOM』主題歌)でbillboard JAPAN Download Songs 1位・オリコン週間デジタルシングルランキング2週連続1位を獲得。

他にも俳優、声優、番組MCなど多岐に渡り新しい挑戦を続けている。

2008年、故郷である滋賀県から「滋賀ふるさと観光大使」に任命され、2009年より県初の大型野外音楽イベント「イナズマロック フェス」を主催、以降地元自治体の協力のもと毎年滋賀県にて開催。

令和二(2020)年度滋賀県文化功労賞受賞。令和六(2024)年11月、野洲市市民栄誉賞受賞。

2025年滋賀県で開催される国民スポーツ大会、全国障害者スポーツ大会「わたSHIGA輝く国スポ・障スポ」PR大使に就任。

In 1996, He debuted as “T.M.Revolution,” which is his solo project, with the song “Dokusai -monopolize-“. Since then, he has released many hit songs, including “HIGH PRESSURE”, “HOT LIMIT”, “WHITE BREATH”, “INVOKE.”

In 2021, he celebrated the 25th anniversary of his debut with T.M.Revolution by successfully holding a nationwide tour.

He has started another music career under his own name “Takanori Nishikawa” since 2018. His song “FREEDOM” (Takanori Nishikawa with t.komuro / theme song for “Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM”), released in 2024, topped various music charts.

Additionally, he continues to take on new challenges in various fields, including acting, voice acting, and as a TV program MC.

In 2008, he was appointed as the “Shiga Furusato Tourism Ambassador” from his hometown of Shiga Prefecture. Since 2009, he has hosted his rock festival, “Inazuma Rock Festival,” which has been held annually in Shiga with the cooperation of local authorities.

He received the Shiga Prefecture Cultural Achievement Award in the 2020. In 2024, he was awarded the Citizen's Honor Award from Yasu City.
