Randy Orton shared a moment with Cody Rhodes on WWE SmackDown before he warned him that he’d be coming for his title eventually.
Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes came to the ring on the March 28th episode of WWE SmackDown. He briefly commented on his upcoming match with John Cena at WWE WrestleMania 41. Randy Orton interrupted and joined him in the ring. Orton spoke highly of Rhodes and his journey up to this point. He said that Rhodes changed the business when he left WWE, and he changed it again when he came back.
Randy Orton then told Rhodes that he was sure he would win at WrestleMania, but there would come a time when he wanted to challenge him for the gold. He told Rhodes that, unlike Cena, he would look him in the eye and tell him when he was coming for him.
“The business is booming. Look at all the people here. It's 99% because of you, Cody."
