Goblin Slayer and his party head up to the snowy mountains in the north after receiving that request from the Sword Maiden. A small village gets attacked, they encounter a mysterious chapel, and something about how these goblins are acting bothers the Goblin slayer.
"I'm going to take back everything that I've lost!"

This picks up right after the events of S1 and follows the Goblin Slayer and his group fighting goblins in a new setting. There are new characters that are introduced, but the same tone remains the same... gritty/mature adventuring. If you enjoyed the previous season, you'll enjoy this movie. I'm looking forward towards S2.

If you enjoyed the series then go for it. This is a continuation of the series with the same vibe and quality. Hopefully we see more in the future since the light novels go on after this story.

A step down from the show, mostly because it's like one drawn-out normal episode, without a unifying theme to tie it into the show.
On the positive side:
- the usual smart and creative goblin murder
- great visuals and strong direction
- GS himself gets more development, talks more and shows a lot of empathy
Not as good as it could have been but still a nice watch, wouldn't skip it if you enjoyed the show.
