A lovely movie to a great manga series also released by the label "Blue Lynx" which does some really great BL anime!
The character design and animation is nearly perfect. Really really pretty and very close to the manga. Same as the story. And that is something I enjoy very much: When the anime tells the story of a manga almost perfectly without changing too much. I really liked Mio but thought that Shun was more likeable in the manga.
It's a slow-paced and heartwarming love story of two strangers who turn into lovers.
"Umibe no Étranger" is as a manga complete with one volume and the movie covered the whole story. But the story has a continuation called "Harukaze no Étranger" which is still ongoing with 4 volumes. I really hope that the continuation will also be released someday. A tv series would be awesome!
If you don't mind/love BL and want to watch a really lovely story and have an eyecandy in form of near perfect character design and animation you need to watch this!
