The weirdness of 100-man is similar to Gantz with nebulous goals that impact the whole world, preposterous system you have to game to survive, chances stacked against the players, team effort, also 100-man is quite violent, not as much as Gantz but still.

Watch only if you have time to kill.

Main character is too easily impressed and none of other characters are likeable.

Every person's reaction to things just didn't make sense and felt super forced.
On top of that, the pacing of everything was trash and left me feeling zero sense of urgency

The person who annoyed me the least wasn't even a main character

After reading recommendations here I started it with feelings that I will drop it fast, that didn't happen. After all it was good watch for me, just nothing more. Fantasy world is very interesting. Fights are nice, main hero is ok, just after some time you realize that all of summons are kids with their own problems, so instead of "generic" isekai it turns into strange direction... into pretty nostalgic watch. Yeah the action and plot are fine, just this overwhelming sadness is disturbing...

btw I watched Gantz like 12 years ago, but somehow this seems so familiar, just another fantasy settings.

I was positively surprised by this one.

I expected edgy tripe from the name, but while it is more on the serious side of the genre, there's enough light-heartedness for it to not be depressing and enough self awareness for it to not be cringe.

It's an ok watch, recommended for fans of the genre.

What drew me into this series was the weird title, but enjoyed the premise of completing quests in an unknown world. For me, this can be broken down into 2 parts... the 1st half of the show was very enjoyable as it focuses on adventures, allies and leveling; however the 2nd half, the pacing slows down and focuses a bit too much on characters complaining. All in all, this was a bit of a mixed bag for me as this show starts off strong but limps to the finish line.

Wasn't expecting much from the description, but this turned out to be surprisingly good. Healthy mix of energetic youthful energy and teenage angst makes this character driven plot very engaging and enjoyable to watch. Weakest part of the show is its simple animation, but that didn't disturb the flow too much. Hopefully they'll spruce up a bit more on it in S2.

Fortunately it evolved into something more akin to Gantz (albeit very late on). A surreal ending gave it a very unique twist that leaves me very interested in the second season (coming July 2021 according to the end credits). It could of course fall flat on it's face but there is a very human story interwoven with each of the characters that makes them far from your a-typical 1 dimensional isekai characters. Worth watching to the end of the season. Let's see what season 2 brings.

Was there ever a hype? Oh well the first few episodes are interesting, as many of those Isekai. But never really got excited as the production quality already "spoil" what kind of series this is.

Jump in with rock-bottom expectation. Some good enjoyable moments here and there, with no pressure or conflict. I can imagine it's something I'd watch daily for long (if there's a continuation), due to that fact alone -- it's right in my comfy-watch zone.

Gotta admit got hyped with its title and first few eps, was expecting a smart workaround from MC to overcome the handicap'ed farmer class he got assigned and eventually grow OP
Alas, it got pretty not even your run-of-the-mill isekai but just plain uneventful and unmemorable. Well at this point the title might be as good just as clickbait

Adding on the artwork and animation were lazy, lots of still frame and plain looking characters and background. Characters were lacking meaningful development as well
I guess the only saving grace it does have some funny moments that got me chuckling and that it does try to inject some meaning to its title and complexity to the plot as a promise in S2

For the real hardcode fans of isekai or those looking for some background filler. 3/10 for me. S2.... not very sure for me

Because of the hype that was around this anime, I was expecting something very interesting, new and deep ... Well, this can be called something new from what we are used to expect in isekai titles, but nothing more. There are a lot of typical clichés here that we can meet in a lot of other anime titles. And in isekai genre, and generally in a World of anime from year to year.
However, this anime is not at all not interesting, so I can advise to watch it... if there is nothing really interesting in mind at the moment.
