Anime: Sekai Saikou no Ansatsusha, Isekai Kizoku ni Tensei Suru

Too cheesy it kills all the good taste in it.

There is a good part: the setting is actually a proper "dark fantasy" where strong abuse and exploit the weak on a daily basis. Not all the episodes should be like EP6 in the world full of violence, but such episodes are a must have.

Unfortunately, all this carefully built "darkness" of the world is wasted into a cheesy harem and over-the-top power fantasizing just to appeal to a typical chynibyo creepy perv audience the author of the source appeals in every one of his works.

Also, the beginning of EP1 leaves a taste of godly team of badass vigilante living to the fullest in the "target rich environment", a world full of evil people in desperate need of eliminating. But the actual show is very far from it.

Pretentious, but empty. All the good parts are wasted. If S2 ever see the light of day - expect more girls to the harem and borderline h-genre dynamic.

Started with a few twists on the usual isekai tropes, but done nothing with them. Had more than a few groan-worthy moments, but ultimately was passable enough to finish.

Well thought out, well paced, intelligent and likeable MC and side characters, etc. but it could have been a bit deeper and more detailed, a job for the source material I guess. There is no question I liked it, but I can't believe I almost didn't watch it because of a few negative reviews on MAL, yes the child sex slave episode was a little much and their mental recovery was seemingly fast but I could come up many ways for them to do so, while the negative reviewers could not. A lacking imagination is hardly a reason to give a bad rating and review.
It's one of the better isekai out there, don't skip it. 7/10

Another great isekai anime. Background story is kinda original, Storyline is well pace, without boring and meaningless filler. MC use combination of magic and science for his OP skill. I would say this underrated anime might be on par if not slightly lower than Mushoku Tensei (Jobless Reincarnation). Definitely a must see for isekai fans. can't wait for the next season to come.

An interesting take on the isekai genre. Very calculated, methodical, and intriguing. This is definitely set up in a way to keep you hooked on how it plays out. One thing that I was definitely happy with was the pacing of the series. There was very little wasted time and unnecessary moments put in. Important moments were captured, explained, and executed (pun intended.)

I've been waiting and hoping there'd be a follow-up season with how this season left off, but nothing yet. Here's to hoping, as they left it where there SHOULD be one.

Worth the watch.

Old formula, nothing different much, but no glaring flaws either. Definitely a very fun watch for Isekai fans like me. Comfy but also no stake at all. There's one episode with possible trigger warning, otherwise the series is very mild overall.

One unique thing is that the "god" of the world isekai'd several characters into the world, and there're subplots to show their current situation. Unfortunately it's pretty shallow execution in that regard, mostly for comedic effect.

In short:

- slow but good pacing

- good storytelling in general, lots of setups with nice payoff

- somewhat science-based magic system

- I was concerned he was grooming the girls but they're actually smart enough to see through him and act for their own reasons

Nothing outstanding here, but some good things and few bad, solid genry entry.

there's literally noting wrong with this anime.
The story is great, the way it unfolds is great the way it retracts the world and all of the characters back stories is great!
The main character personality / control of situation is just rigth with out becoming stupid ( like kirito as an example), the music is there, the animations / special effects are excellent!

for only a 12 epi anime, it literally wipes the flor with MANY of anime releases now a days, why is no-one talking about this ?
Waiting for season 2!

Whilst nothing groundbreaking, World's finest assassin does the basics to great effect and reminds us that isekai with a slice of harem is popular for a reason.
