I won't say that this show is entirely original. The base concept has been floating around for eons. But as a quick 45-minute OVA, this show does a pretty good job of introducing a premise, exploring some of its ramifications, and doing so with a certain sort of respectable style. As far as technicals go, the character artwork is pretty good. I really like some of the facial expressions. But otherwise, the production values are decidedly dated by modern standards. A nice little watch for the concepts explored, but otherwise largely forgettable.
