OB Planning was established September, 1981. It is mainly a production and planning studio. Its headquarters is in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. It has a capital of 10 million yen and its current representative director is Usami Ren.
An associated company of OB is ACGT, established by former Triangle Staff producer Abe Shoujiro and OB producer Baba Takeshi in December 2000, it does mainly produce the animation for OB projects since then.
OB Planning is mainly known for planning and producing Adachi Mitsuru's works such as Touch, Miyuki and Slow Step, as well as the Initial D series.
