The group started encoding in 2009, with the motivation being that there was lack of good releases for old anime - such that would have correctly encoded video of transparent quality.
Providing those continues to be the goal: to respect the anime and conservatively present its original features. We aim to do everything properly and don't want to compromise on the methods and file sizes.
