Mason Taylor (born May 8, 2004) is an American football tight end. He played college football for the LSU Tigers. Taylor is the son of Pro Football Hall of Fame defensive end Jason Taylor.

Early life

Taylor attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.[1] He committed to Louisiana State University (LSU) to play college football.[2][3]

College career

Taylor earned playing time his true freshman year at LSU in 2022.[4][5] In his first career game, he had four receptions for 34 yards. In week 10 against Alabama, he caught the game winning 2-point conversion (after a late fourth quarter touchdown) that helped LSU gain their first home win over Alabama since 2010.[6]

Personal life

Taylor is the son of Pro Football Hall of Fame defensive end Jason Taylor and nephew of Pro Football Hall of Fame linebacker Zach Thomas.[10]
