Euphorbia hirta (Pill Pod Sandmat) is a species of annual herb in the family Euphorbiaceae. They are native to Amazônia, Sergipe, Piauí, ParaíBa, Bahia, SãO Paulo, GoiáS, Caatinga, Mata Atlântica, Maranhao, RondôNia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Cerrado, Minas Gerais, Espirito Santo, Rio Grande Do Norte, Roraima, Puerto Rico, Mato Grosso, Ceará, Pampa, Distrito Federal, Acre (Brazil), Alagoas, Rio Grande Do Sul, Paraná, Pernambuco, US Minor Outlying Islands, The Contiguous United States, Rio De Janeiro, U.S. Virgin Islands, Pará, Santa Catarina, and Tocantins. Flowers are visited by Curve-winged Metalmark, Sphecodes rudiusculus, Pseudapis interstitinervis, and Asian dwarf honey bee.
