Manihot esculenta (Cassava) is a species of tree in the family Euphorbiaceae. They are native to Pará, Maranhao, Amazônia, Piauí, Bahia, GoiáS, The Neotropics, Minas Gerais, Distrito Federal, Mato Grosso, Alagoas, SãO Paulo, Amapá, Ceará, Pernambuco, Acre (Brazil), RondôNia, and Cerrado. They have green flowers. Flowers are visited by Clavate-legged Stingless Bee, Thrinchostoma productum, Polybia sericea, and Melipona compressipes. Individuals can grow to 10 feet.
